Latest comment: IT looks to me that she has eaten a few too many happy meals in her life. Is she supposed to be a role model for healthy living?

The body has an amazing way of getting rid of waste, it will work no matter what you eat. The fries are always covered in salt, a known natural preservative, the bun and burger has dried before the mould attacked it. Bread left in the open goes stale and dry, it only goes mouldy with poor air circulation keeping the moisture in, like in a plastic bag. As the bread is stale, I can only assume the meal was kept somewhere warm and dry with good air circulation. In this instance, no mould will attack it, but I wouldn't risk her chances eating it as other invisible bacteria will have left their marks. What it does inside the body? Acid and bacterial digestion, what isn't digested is shipped out. It wouldn't be recognisable then!

"it will work no matter what you eat." Keep filling your body with Mc Donalds food and see what happens. Oh someone tried that...

Does this mean you shouldn't put a Big Mac into a compost bin, because it won't biodegrade?

This won't change anything. Mc Donalds will run another flowery campain and people will forget about these terrible products. It's not like they have only just started making terrible food.

If you are what you eat - does this mean our bodies will not break down and we will remain younger for longer?

No but when you die your skeleton will take longer to decompose. These preseratives actually reduce your life expectancy.

Salt is one of the best preservatives... and yet we eat it in most things. Sugar is also one. Pure natural honey never goes mouldy either... and that's supposed to be healthy... perhaps we need to look at this in... er... context

mc donalds fries do get moldy after 2-3days if there is enough moisture
if you leave the mc donalds food on a dry place, without ventilation, all what happens is, the stuff will get dry, and thats not because it is some kind of strange processed food, it's because it was produced in a sterile environment
where no germs are, nothing will grow, nothing else
