And not a single brain dead surfer trying to ride the wave. Wonders will never cease.

Latest comment: It is horrifying how little you know about your own country.

Ironically he's right and you're wrong. Being Welsh does indeed mean he's british.

Yes, but some of us prefer to be known by our country and object very strongly to being called British. I always correct people who call me British or European;I am English. I don't call Canadians & Americans 'North Americans'; it's simply polite to acknowledge someone's preference and their right to the same.

Hmm, what are you on about - Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales DO constitute parts of Great Britain...sometimes much to Irish Scottish and Welsh annoyance...

I merely made a statement about being Welsh.
And I didn't spoil the video unless you read the comments first and I ruined it for you by telling you what happened.

If you are Welsh and "not English", why do you call yourself London1? Is not the capital of ENGLAND (ergo the ENGLISH) LONDON? Just saying..... You didn't, after all, call yourself "Welsh1".

I would have gone down to see too. But I would have been silent. Watching nature and thought of how horribly hard this hit other people, who lost their lives, or their loved ones and their homes.
I would not have cried out "Yeah!".
Some people make me sad.

The british isles is a geographical term. If you are from Manchester would you call yourself a Londoner? I'm Irish and will never be British just as i'll never be european even though Ireland is in Europe.

Hate to say it mate, but if you're from Northern Ireland then legally you are considered British as well as geographically........... but you've ALL missed the point! surely the point of this video is that a tsunami that has killed people not too far away apparently warrants a yelp of excitement from an IDIOT rather than respect and contemplation! It doesn't matter where any of us are from in the end when there's so much pain going on. It's bringing attention to our differences in times like this that causes problems. Stop bickering cause it means you miss the point

No. If you are born in one of the 6 north eastern occupied counties on the island of Ireland you can have an Irish Passport which makes you Irish.
