Such negative comments. Ok so Sir Richard Branson isn't exactly the engineer, but if he has the money and the dream, why can't this be possible? Why can't the rich venture the deepest oceans? Why can't he include light so powerful as to penetrate the depths? Let him pay the experts large sums of money to make this possible, because it's only money which is really getting in the way. Our governments have little reason to invest, let Richard. In regards to his late flights... don't you stop for a second and think... ok so I left 20 minutes late... but right now, I'm in a chair... in the sky...! Wow! All of what we have started with a dream and a lot of cash. Richard has both.

Abolutely impressing... how Marketing can ignore even the simplest facts and still work. Passengers will sit for hours and hours in absolute darkness with nothing to see (except for "This is the deepest point on Earth" - "Oh, that puddle of mud? Really?"), and pay heavily for it. Drown the rich, really... Richard is an anarchist at its best.

or Richard could "dream" of a train that had enough space for luggage and arrived on time

Does Branson even own Virgin trains anymore? I don't know, but this is just a CGI of what they hope it will be like - reality will probably be less attractive.

Intriguing. But few are the places where water clarity would cooperate. Light absorption and multiple scattering will conspire to render visibility very bad in all but a few select locations.
