Tim Keller: Easter proves Christmas was real!

Tim Keller: Easter proves Christmas was real!

(4:11) Presbyterian minister Timothy Keller discusses with Martin Bashir whether Easter is symbolic or historic. A serious conversation that touches on some of the deeper questions in religion. Seriously, I had to pinch myself to check reality itself.

I can't believe that in this day and age people can still sit there and seriously talk about effectively what is an old story. It has been pretty much proven that modern Christianity is a bastardisation of many previous beliefs and 'religions' and was a way of controlling the masses. Indeed, Easter was an old Pagan celebration and was linked very much to harvesting and summer, etc. To discuss resurrection in such a matter of fact way is beyond belief and surely is as normal as talking about Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny existing.
