Yep boy bands offend me too. A band plays instruments (which they don't) and a boy is a male under the age of 16 (which they aint)

Missing the point of her speech. The man made a motion to oust the Speaker because of his sexist attitude and participation in sexual harrassment made him not fit to server. Prime Minister Julia Gillard's speech responded to the hypocrisy of that motion, and it was quite effective and appropriate. People who are reduced to calling others names or ridiculing them because they are threatened by their power and actions are not worth much of anything. And under normal circumstances, I'm quite sure that the Prime Minister overlooked many, many offenses, but in this instance there was a good reason to recite the record. Bravo.
