I have a great deal of experience with animals and older animals are usually very tolerant of young animals of different species. Look at the youtube huskys and polar bears as a very unusual mix. If cats were introduced to birds at a very young age they would not chase & kill them but it would have to be one of each species. My cat who was raised by two Goldies does not chase birds. kat

According to the owner, Spike is an American Pitbull Terrier. He also matches pictures on Wikipedia.

I would have expected it from a bitch (female) but not a dog (male)! It’s amazing that he took so easily to nurturing Visa. I enjoy watching different species playing together, in that they've communicated and understand each species behavioural tendency and nuance for play, no matter how different each species play behaviour is.

A strangely entertaining Cat v Dog video, supplemented by a good choice in music. It's nice to see animals making friendships.

Latest comment: He is a boxer terrier mix and obviously so. Clearly not a pitbull.

Spike is a very gentle dog. It must have great owners, or perhaps is biding its time until Visa is more than a snack.
