Sure, but first we have to go after the politicians and bureaucrats who wrote the rules which made what the bankers did legal, and then of course we have to rescind the silly principle of ex post facto.

Stealing often is legalized for those that already rich - they have lawyers to pay who can find loopholes for them. Some poor kid nicks a bottle of water during a looting spree that seemingly was allowed to happen and they get 6 months for it. Also, concentration camp nazis were working for politicians and bureaucrats - it didn't stop them geting hung for their immorality later on, did it?

No one, no one is so clueless they think looting is allowed, but you are right about the rich getting the rules written for them and who's fault, ultimately, is that? We elect these crooks and we tolerate them. If you hire someone to run your shop and he starts selling things without ringing the till do you blame him or the customers who bought the merchandise?...The Nuremberg trials are a very complex situation which there isn't space to go into here but no they aren't comparable to bankers or even speculators.

Latest comment: Stealing is never legal - and no poor kid needs to steal water in our western world. Yes, the rich get richer and the poor poorer but looting is not the answer to this problem.
