1990 peugeot 405 t16 on the same climb is much more dramatic. this suzuki is 910 hp and the peugeot was only 200 hp (a lot at the time)

the 1988 peugeot 405 had 600 hp, but it WAS much more dramatic. Nearly the whole road was gravel. I consider the 1985-1988 records superior to Tajimas effort.

Hell yes. Michéle Mouton in '85 ripped the smiles off a LOT of male faces. By far the best ever run on pikes peak Ever.. and this wasn't filmed for "my entertainment" this was filmed as a (successful) advert for GoPro cameras.
