You can judge a society by the way it treats it's weekest and less fortunate members.
It's not socialism to help someone who realy needs it.

Take responsiblity, yeah well what if you work like feck lets for for exampl,e in Texas but still fall short of being able to pay your rent, feed your kids and pay health care, what then? Should it not the be case that the moral argument is that people should be paid a living wage? Or would the Gov lose money on that policy?

Why should i be morally or financially responsible for an idiot who didnt take his OWN responsibilities and take out insurance? That there should be a very basic survival safety net, fair enough but beyond that - you're on your own!

Listen. Only a small portion of the uneducated and overly religious midwest are big Tea Party supporters. These people get no support on either coast, or from anyone who has a f-ing clue. This is not a fair representation of average America, but what can you expect from worldwide media? All they live to show is everything that's bad or extreme. Think on your own SHEEPLE!!!

Also. This question is phrased like a rattlesnake. Coiled and poised to strike no matter what the response. Of course people should take responsibility for their healthcare and anyone with a "Good Job" as stated would. Stupid F-ing question. He should have said, "So some stupid waste of skin gang member gets shot and has to be in a coma for 6 months, should tax payers have to pay?" That is a much more viable question.

Latest comment: What was Ron Pauls answer to the question? It wasn't shown...I wonder why? Jeez I like this sight but the liberal bias is deafening...and disgusting at times.

This appears to be symptomatic of a good proportion of the USA. The paradox of spouting 'Christian' values and then proposing to throw the sick, the halt and the lame overboard for any reason that makes them even the slightest burden to country. That's just thoughtless, ruthless and bordering on barbaric. That's What I Think.

Freedom comes with responsibility, if you don't want responsibility, than you shouldn't have the freedom.

Is a free society where everyone takes responsibility for the well being of others out of the question?

If you are not strong enough to stand in front of your freely made decision, don't be a pussy and hide behind Jesus.
