Growth, in the current version of capitalism, equals increased profits for an increasingly small-yet-powerful bunch of fat bar stewards... profits made by getting the people who make stuff... buy the stuff they make (think iPad). What's worse is that 'the people' are so bloody stupid that 'rioting' actually is just another word for shopping with violence. The things that need to be made are railways, hospitals and health care systems, schools - you know: commie stuff. Idiot.
