yawn!! This was quite possibly the worst 15 mins of 'comedy' i have ever seen, not even in the slightest bit funny, not because i found it offensive, i didn't. There was just nothing witty or fresh about his routine. some of the other comments sum it up better than i can 'stinks of jealousy'.

Chimpie, he is the best stand up comedian working today. You know why? because the sole purpose of his work is to get people like you to respond like that.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah, this guys isn't funny. Nothing to do with "not being on the intellectual level of the comedy" as PPUK seems to think. I am a huge fan of many many other "politically-correct, middle-aged liberal" comedians and love clever comedy that can be appreciated on several levels. Stewart Lee is just bitter, resentful, stupid and unfunny.

If you get it, you get it. If you don't, you don't. But you need to watch to the end. Chalk and cheese. My opinion? he's a genius.

you shouldn't mistake thinking that popularity automatically reflects quality (esp in media). think of some of the most popular; band - Take That, tv - X-Factor, newspaper - the sun. remember the majority of people are retards.

It's true Top Gear is a very popular show. Lots of terrible shows are very popular because a very large number of people would rather be spoon-fed crap than watch something that might require them to use their brains and/or consciences for a short while. It is possible for lots of people to like something and for that thing to nevertheless be a pointless waste of time and human effort. It happens all the time. Perhaps you will understand one day when you are big enough to sit at the grown-up's table.

To develop a taste for this kind of crap, people must' have lived with their heads up their own own arses for a good deal of time. What a smug, jealous tit.

I was constantly flipping between thinking "this is brilliant" and "ooooh, should he be allowed to say that?". I guess that means it's brilliant.

If you ever spend any time among actual human beings you will come to know what Bob is doing as 'waving' - a form of human greeting you will come to find familiar if any of those human beings ever come to find you worth giving such a greeting. Good luck with this as you come across as not even worth knowing, let alone being pleased to see you. Should you ever bother yourself with such a thing as 'learning something' you will find that the Nazi salute is performed with the right arm extended towards saluted party, not the left arm extended out to the side away from the greeted party, as Bob is demonstrating. Good luck with this activity also as you don't seem particularly inclined towards learning and it may prove difficult for you. And you can indeed be sure that there is no copyright infringement issue as TheBob having an avatar does not make him any money, it merely functions as free advertising for a children's show. Also if it was an issue, TheBob would not have to pay up for several years due to the size of the payment queue he would be in, headed up by the millions of other people currently using well-known images as avatars and somehow magically getting away without being sued.

awesome comedy from stewart lee, i get it and i think that he explains it at the end well enough.... stewart lee is actually a clever man who actually dislikes some of the more lazy, acidic and judgemental comedy in the media today and here is a typical parody of it here.

And I thought I was the only person who thought that. So sad Hammond didn't leave his children fatherless and his wife open to the next bloke who would give her syphylis and she would go blind and then die and the kids would become orphans and have to work as prostitutes and smoke crack until the got AIDS of black africans who had raped and beat them before infecting them - c'mon its just a joke?

Latest comment: I am not a hate filled troll(proviser)or good speller,BUT i feel there may need to be a campaign started to help get R Hammond off TV.I do despise the man and believe Mr Lee does feel the same.his agent may be to blame or his school years but he is ruining and rubbishing the BBC,which we all pay for. This box is not large enough for me to explain my disatifaction.I pity his family and would like to be proved wrong. There is a real sadness in his pityful eyes.
