Japanese team at Cheerleading World Championships 2011

(3:22) Winning Japanese all girl cheerleading team at the 6th Cheerleading World Championships 2011 in Hong Kong. Even though cheerleading originated in the US, and remains a predominantly American activity, US teams did not feature in the top three of any event at the Cheerleading World Championships 2011.

Latest comment: I have been to the Championship in Florida every year since 2001 and I can tell you I have not seen anything this good there. Next year i'm saying good bye to florida and going to China to watch this.

This may be a world Championship held in Hong Kong however the Cheerleading World Championship is held in Florida every year and the USA teams are the headliners. Here is a link to Team USA L6 All-girl in 2011, these athletes train for roughly one week together before this competition, which is why the stunts are often less intricate. LINK Also, a Canadian team won the Level 6 All-Girl International division in 2011, not sure how Japan placed..

Don't be too upset, the Japanese have been improving on American concepts for decades.

Is this like the world series of baseball? WORLD championships sort of implies the potential to be held in places other than just the USA, I would humbly venture.
