Latest comment: This is sooo dumb. For a start the rich, like Buffet, don't earn a salary which is taxed at the higher rate. They earn their money from capital gains on stocks etc. which is taxed at a lower rate FOR A REASON! If you tax income from stocks etc. that will negatively impact the stock market and companies ability to fund expansion for jobs etc. But apart from all that no matter how much you tax people the govt. will ALWAYS spend more.....you must starve the beast! You could confiscate ALL of Buffets and Gates wealth and it would only cover a month or two of the INTEREST payments on the debt...what are you going to do next? The lie you are being told is that there is a way out. There isn't! It's default or massive inflation, thats it.The govt. has screwed us all,all over the world.

Buffettís own company, Berkshire Hathaway, has had every opportunity to pay more taxes over the last decade. Instead, itís been mired in a protracted legal battle with the Internal Revenue Service over a bill that one analyst estimates may total $1 billion. Yes, thatís right: while Warren Buffett complains that the rich arenít paying their fair share his own company has been fighting tooth and nail to avoid paying their share.
