The Day The LOLcats Died

(3:04) The internet threatens the longstanding control of information, and for the likes of Rupert Murdoch, that is unacceptable. This is a protest song by Forest Gibson against SOPA and PIPA, proposed legislation to take control of what is allowable on the internet by big media corporations, under the guise of protecting copyright. SOPA has been shelved, now that Obama has come out against it - but it will be back in some form or other, so stay vigilant.
