Two parakeets in conversation

(0:45) Two parakeets chat and occasionally exchange a kiss. Did I just hear one ask "what's your favourite car?" At the world's largest aviary Birds of Eden in South Africa.

I could watch that over and over again. So amusing from a human perspective, but they're obviously communicating with each other. Apparently they're two different species, according to the You Tube description, even though they look very much alike.

Erm, it could well be a bit of mimicry goin on there too, considering the near-constant exposure to humans and if that were the case, it opens up the possibility that these parakeets, thru trial and error, could be using human language with each other and possibly ourselves - "more seeds please"!.... Maybe I'm being a bit anthropo' bout this, but the chances that, if they do 'talk', of there being any meaning from the parakeets is questionable.Perhaps they're only showing off for peanuts?

I thought it asked, What's your favourite food? And the other says, 'Apples.'
