Beach babe vs jet engineBeach babe vs jet engine

(1:00) Princess Juliana International Airport on the Caribbean island of St Maarten, has its runway right next to the beach. A must-do for tourists is to engage in aircraft takeoffs, a risky affair if you don't realise the sheer power that comes out of the back of a jet engine priming for takeoff. Ouch, that must have hurt.

I do not delight in the suffering of any, but there is a certain element of Darwinism in this.

Well I never. This would never happen in the west and I am blessed by the grace of God to be chosen as being born western. The very fact that the governmental agencies shalt allow such a "fence" to "exist" as the only means of protection against the aeroplanes is ridiculous to say the least. Thankfully, my government shalndt allow such monstrousness.

Latest comment: to say errect a fence is ridiculous, that is why they have a link fence so that the turbulance goes through it, it would only go over it and maybe blow the hard fence down and over the beach. there are warnings but people being people being dumb don't take any notice. as someone else said, darwin award winner. kat
