I found a tiny kitten on a road, very sick, couldn't walk. Flies had already laid their eggs on her. Vet said to put her to sleep. I said no way, she deserved a chance. She never did walk straight, always fell to the left. Her body was fixable but because of her severe middle ear infection, she was deaf and never gained normal balance. She would run in circles always to the left, when she was excited or getting exercise. I guarded and loved her and she loved me, for 18 wonderful years. A strong and happpy heart, just like your little Pug :-) Thanks for posting Loca's story.

Thank you so much for posting this. I think I laughed and cried at the same time. I love my dogs, and also work with disabled children. So this touched me to the bottom of my heart.

It appears that your Pug may have Cerebellar Hypopllasia. She looks and acts like my friend's Jack Russel. It is a disorder that happens when the cerebellum is not fully developed at birth. These dogs with mild cases can and do live a full and happy pain free life as it appears that your Pug is doing. If you wish to know more, the following website may help. link
Enjoy your happy doggie!

What a precious video! I've recently lost the ability to walk, and a dear friend sent this to me to remind me that just like Lola, it's not my ability to walk or run that makes my family love me. Thank you so much!

This dog should be evaluated by a veternary chiropractor. Correcting joint misalignments could make a world of difference to this dog.

decent advice, no need for idiocy. I imagine this family has and will see specialists for their dogs

I LOVE the song! Well done!
Unfortunately the pup's a wobbler - neurological problems could be spinal related, but I lean more towards total neurological. It may get worse as she gets older, but she's a happy dog and the people love her! So whatever life she has on this earth it will be full of love :)

She has seen the vet - nothing to be done, it is neeurological. She is a very happy and well-loved dog, so don't worry. - Loca's Grandma.

thanks for letting us know Grandma! She is so very awesome. As long as she is not bothered or in pain with the condition, she will be more than fine. She has an amazing home

I loved your video, and so did my four year old son. His response was "Aww, that puppy can't run...but she's so happy!" Due to neurological damage from back injuries, if I tried to run now I'd look a lot like Loca. This tune stayed in my head for days. Well done!

Maybe the best thing about this video is the way it shares Loca's joie de vivre and your love for animals with people all around the world.
The second best thing is the human artistry involved: the excellent, creative lyrics, the happily familiar tune, and the equally creative and precise film editing that makes Loca's story come alive.
I LOVE it -- and I'm not exactly lukewarm about Loca, either. If hugs are her favorite thing, give her one for me!

I have a little yorkie rescue who also had a severe ear infection that was never treated and so he too runs like this little pug - he falls over, if he falls over on his back I have to pick him up and put him back on his feet, he is like a turtle, sometimes he sees me and sometimes he does not - he loves to play, is a great walker, loves to play with other dogs, sometimes gets stuck in time I call it where he just stands and seems to be confused by how he got there - a little gentle tap and he is back with us. He is happy and healthy and the love of my life. he is a good boy - his name is George.

I just adore this video. Loca reminds me of my Ernie who has knee issues . He's like a bullet. Ernie is a Yug, but the similarities are amazing.[mixe with a Yorkie]. The voice for Loc a is super . Thank you ever so much as I know this has brought great pleasure to so many people, it's a real pick me up. Ernie loves to watch TV and he likes this video as well. Again Thanks Lesley

This could not have arrived at a better time.
My girl, Chloe, an 8 year old Bernese Mtn. Dog was just diagnosed with Wobbler Syndrome. Your pug reminds me of how she now moves.
I was just reading the comments below and someone else mentioned the same syndrome. I hope she has seen a Neurologist.
Thanks
