More likely that in between crawling on her and when she found it with the cat - the cat got it. It looks injured to me at that point. Like it can't really control the direction it is going in.

Latest comment: It is obviously a tame one as the animals are used to it, if they are introduced properly they will not try and kill each other. Or it maybe a youngster and most animals instinctively know this and will in most cases be very gentle and let them take all sorts of liberties that they would not normally get away with.
