The first thing we have to realise is that the President is a renter, he is only there for for 4-8 years. The real enemy are Congress, and Corporate CEO's that use lobbyists to influence our Congress and Senate. Focus on the real enemy. Guantanamo Bay cant be closed, if you release those men they will be used as recruitment posters for terrorism all over the world. Obama saying he would close GitMo, or end the war on terror was his naivete, him not doing it is showing that he learned how the world works.

It's such a shame that those of us who enthusiastically supported Obama the first time round can now only see him as "less bad than Romney". Obama has been such a disappointment to those who believed in him: he didn't end the war on terror; he didn't close Guantanamo; he failed to punish the CIA for torture and war crimes; he has increased the war on whistleblowers; failed on privacy; increased surveillance; hasn't reined-in the TSA; backs drone attacks; failed to reform drugs policy;... the list goes on. I want to vote for the Obama who ran for president in 2008; not the Obama who has been president since then.

For all the negative things you point out about Obama, how would your country have fared if another Republican had followed G.W. Bush into office? And how will things improve if Romney is your next president? I don't see any evidence of the GOP having a credible alternative to Obama. All I see is another walking joke who wants to impose his own highly dubious and flexible values on the entire nation, and appears to on track to do just that.

Richard _N is to be commended for seeing how Obama didn't live up to his rhetoric. I always said "Don't listen to what he says, look at what he does" Mitt Romney will be just as much a disaster as Obama I would think.
Ron Paul was the only real candidate and he's gone...as for this stupid video....Obama voted against raising the debt ceiling when Bush was in office. They are all a bunch of hypocrites. But that's govt. for you.

I'm not running Richard_N's points down. You guys live with the reality of what your president does/doesn't do and understand it better than most of us. I'm just curious whether Romney is really a credible alternative to Obama.

Obama is too good for the Honey Boo Boo voters of the US. Let's hope they get Romney so the smart countries can buy whats left of the US at a sweet price.
