Our Conservative goverment already carry out the same policies as Romney-Ryan..Our deficit grows each year and the gap between the rich and poor gets wider every year..Our growth is the lowest in Europe..It is almost like saying the way to cure the patient is to cut off his air supply..Pivate buisess exists to further the interests of the shareholders and directors..

Latest comment: Im assuming your in the UK. If so please check your facts before posting. Our "growth" is no where near the lowest in Europe. Have you heard of a country called Greece? Spain? Ireland? True we arent growing as fast as Germany but we are sure as hell doing better than a lot of Europe

Say what you like, but the politicians aren't all that concerned about the working man. You don't even get into politics if you don't have a lot (a LOT) of money, so why should any of them give a damn about the less well heeled of their country? They don't. They have the country in their collective pockets. They don't have to worry about whether they can pay their taxes, run their vehicles, buy their groceries or pay for medical care.

Its just irresponsible to have us assume that this "communist", sorry" progressive"(since 1948),is some kind of expert. Public employees are a huge burden on all citizens and should be replaced by private buisness where ever possible. secondly Ryans plan is the only one offered so since all Obamas policies have failed we're left with only one choice.

Your sir are a fecking wanker, go study econimic and then go and see what cutting public spending is doing in europe. And before you say it, the debt's in europe weren't created by public spending they were created by stupid greedy leaders. the debts in the UK were very low in 2008, they still are in Germany, were very low in France in 2008, Holland, Belgium etc, christ even Spain (who had the lowest percapita debt per population in 2008) were better off. Cutting off public spending in harsh times lead to even harder times, look at the 11930's where we see the best example. I'd think the US should be doing everything it could (after all they casued this) to enable europe to grow if they don't then ther US will be swallowed up by China, Inda and Brazil in less than 15 years. Then the lazy fat yanks will know what it's all about

Do you think it would be better if governments weren't allowed to go into debt at all?

How do you expect private business to be the slightest bit interested in activities which don't earn guaranteed profit? Or don't you think things like education, affordable medical care for everyone, or a host of other services are important to society?
