it is quite clear from watching it at the beginning that his right leg is supported into the earth - perhaps he has a rod attached to his boots which is jarred into a drain or something. as you see he never moves that leg and uses it for support entirely

The rug underneath him conceals a heavy base for a chair that has one hinged leg hidden up his trousers. But however he does it, fair play to him. Hope he lives a rich and happy life.
