Favourite comment: He doesn't look like an Andy

Guest: Daryl K Warman (90 days ago)
Hope he gets to play in the dirt and climb trees sometimes

Guest: Sally Ne (81 days ago)
This may very well be his tree and dirt. He does not look forced into anything. Music is the heart of the soul! P.S. I don't play an instrument either but I love music. It is my coffee in the AM. Rock on Andy!

Guest: jm (100 days ago)
great but there are other child piano prodigys out there and I know people who will not help these prodigys unless they or there family help others with music or related careers

Guest: tommaso (109 days ago)
what does he do during recess ?

Guest: Judith A MacKenzie (138 days ago)
I am a pianist as well and started at the age of 4. This child is astounding and I too , believe in reincarnation . WOW ! fantastic !

Guest: Hayes (103 days ago)
3:16 and the following 15 seconds... beautiful, emotionally rich playing. I disagree with you profoundly. Sincerely, a Professional Musician

Guest: sandmac (149 days ago)
He is very mathematical...i hope its a hobby and he studies medicine and cures many diseases

Guest: imnsho (108 days ago)
He's 5 years old. True he does not display the musical maturity and expressive capabilities of an older pianist, but hmmmmm, methinks one day he will. I know many phenomenal musicians who learned subtler musical nuance later in life. I'm not stating as fact that he will as I have no idea how he is being taught, but judging this 5-year old as being "too mathematical" is akin to judging a baby tiger as being too trusting. Don't hate.

Guest: evyatar (101 days ago)
agree as well, i'm sure the nice kid had a great mind and decipline... or whatever they do to educate their kids. but he is looking like it is all to satisfied the photographer. like a parental dream come thru this sweet boy! but ! it was good what so ever! good luck!

Guest: Nashkey (148 days ago)
Sandmac- you're joking I assume. Surely nO one would critique a 5 year old's emotional interpretation. I'm a classically trained 30 year pro keyboardist and I think this is astounding.

Guest: Safae (130 days ago)
totally agree ;)))))

Guest: HAHA (261 days ago)
Genius!

Guest:  (127 days ago)
Absolutely...he is a genius! God is Good!

Guest: Brenda White (107 days ago)
Congrats to the parents who have identified Andy's gift at an early age, probably 3 or earlier. THEN they poured into him with wise instruction, an atmosphere conducive to learning and probably no TV. That's what can happen if parents get involved with their children. Work hard, Andy! from a Suzuki piano teacher in America

Guest: Dorothy Leslie (106 days ago)
That was fantastic and I congratulate his parents for letting him develope his talents. I hope someday to hear him play with a symphony!

Guest: Romy Monteyro (75 days ago)
Yes, just like Tiger Woods whose father taught him to play golf maybe at the same age as this boy wonder began playing the piano. A great future in music is in store for Andy as it was for Tiger in golf. Play on Andy!

Guest: Savanthi (157 days ago)
How else can it be explained other than by the theory of re-birth?!

Guest: klaatu (114 days ago)
Neuroscience. Stop belittling this amazing kid's natural ability be claiming it's only possible by supernatural assistance. It's degrading.

Guest: David Fearon (177 days ago)
I'M JUST BLOWN AWAY! THIS IS FANTASTIC.

Guest: Fanya (194 days ago)
This little guy is proof that God give special talents and gifts to people. IHe is GREAT! I wish him well.

Guest: Doh (173 days ago)
there is no proof of any involvement from a sky deity here

Guest: Savanthi (157 days ago)
How else can it be explained other than by the theory of re-birth?!

Guest: Phil Smith, Sunnyside, NL. (170 days ago)
There's no proof that this is not some high end CGI either but I "choose" to believe that the little guy is real and I "choose" to believe that there is a supreme having an influence on who we are and where we are going. Let's not argue over the details because, as they say, "the Devil is in the details".

My grandfather was a concert pianist who taught music years ago. I saw with my own eyes a little Asian boy about that age play exactly like that. It was unbelievable and actually brought tears to my eyes. Talent like that is truly a gift from God!

Guest: Rahman (152 days ago)
Mind can discover GodParticle recently under a tunnel in Europe or fly to the moon . Then the power and beauty in this little angelic particles in a body can also astonish everyone as a wave of unity in our trouble diversified world

Guest: Mahakala73 (185 days ago)
Speaks volumes about the possibility of reincarnation.

Guest: bartho (174 days ago)
actually, it speaks nothing about reincarnation. it speaks about talents.

Guest: Muso (90 days ago)
Actually, it speaks nothing about Talent. it speaks about Enjoment of hard word at something he loves.

Guest: Mark K (161 days ago)
Sometimes we use the word "talent" so much that we ignore the years, months, days, and hours of hard work. Sometimes "talent" lets we ourselves off the hook, stopping us from attempting difficult things, because "I don't have the TALENT."

Guest: Gary Sharp (166 days ago)
He must have been listening to his Grandpa's Olde Brubeck Recordings - There is a Next Generation!

Guest: Confused (172 days ago)
There is more proof of involvement \\\\\\\"from a sky deity\\\\\\\" than NOT!

Guest: ewi (90 days ago)
Cunfused, you are confused.

Guest: anewman (147 days ago)
No, there's not.

Guest: Dezi (190 days ago)
He is such an amazing little boy with a huge personality that will take him far. You can tell he enjoys and feels the music by his actions. Would love to hear more of his talent.

Guest:  (181 days ago)
Can someone please tell me what song he is playing?

Guest: Barbara Gabogrecan (166 days ago)
The truly great thng about this tiny tot is that he absolutely loves what he is doing! There is no suggestion that this is 'fake' when you see the look on his face - pure joy and the love of his music. What a tiny genius - I hope to live long enough to see him thrive as an adult and visit Australia!

I love Andy Lee

Guest: Texas Chica (112 days ago)
If you were to log how many hours American Children play video games or watch mindless TV, they would exceed the hours Andy spent learning something useful!

Guest: Janie (167 days ago)
I can't help but think, isn't it a shame that these parents are only permitted to have one child.

Guest: Lincoln (162 days ago)
It may be precisely the fact that they only have one child to lavish the kind of attention and focus on, that can help nurture this gift.

Guest: Duh. (158 days ago)
Thats china. You can have as many as you want in HK

Guest: Mimi (192 days ago)
Incredible! Where does all this talent come from in a 5-year old? He's fantastic and an amazing pianist.

Guest: Sly (108 days ago)
I do believe there's such a thing as natural talent...this little boy is amazing! And you can tell he really loves it! And he's NOT looking at the music!

Guest: Rowe Kaple (140 days ago)
Have an almost 3year old granddaughter who really likes music and has lots of musicians in the family. Hope that this is going to encourage her. Folks are afraid to get her started too soon. This proves that it can happen.

Guest: Trish Moulton (166 days ago)
hard to grasp the concept that a child of that age can plat so well and with so much feeling. Go Andy, You are superb

Guest: John Doe (175 days ago)
LOL @ reincarnation, etc. These kids start at the age of 2 and practice their days away. At 5 hours per day over three years, that's 5475 hours of practice... My understanding is that 5 hours per day of practice would be very lenient. Read the book "Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother."

Guest: Music Lover (118 days ago)
Whatever these parents have done to encourage their child's talent it is obvious that he loves what he is doing! So, IMO they aren't over doing it. He has such a joyful personality!

Guest: Shammie (137 days ago)
John Doe - there you have it. God or no God, this is how other cultures often are. They really push and structure their child's education and talents from the start. Nothin like here in the USA. That's why we now rank from 37th to 50th in education the world, in math, the sciences, etc.

Guest: Cliff Knight (121 days ago)
For Shammie, You lot are 37th to 50th in education in the world because you have gorgotten your founding fathers and for the past 30 odd years you have been trying with money and guns to reduce the rest of the world to the low standards you so obviously enjoy such as guns at schools, shootinf presidents trying as hard as you can to reduce the world to your style of democracy which is no democracy at all. Save your gun money, save the cost of inturion into other nation's lives and spend a bit on education.

Guest: Cathy B (95 days ago)
Cliff - being an American, I agree with you completely - you are absolutely correct. As a nation, we were once great and proud, now we're simply corrupt and greedy. I give Andy my very best wishes on continuing to enjoy his music and education

Guest: Diane Thompson (174 days ago)
What a wonderful little guy - so much talent - from where??? Does mom and dad have this talent too??? Unbelievable. I wish I had just a little of this!!!

Guest: Tatarsky (88 days ago)
Looks like he's having more fun playing the piano than playing in the dirt.

Guest: Maraguerite France (156 days ago)
A Child named Andy.

ShabbyShoe ShabbyShoe (262 days ago)
He's like Thelonius Monk playing classical music. Hope he doesn't become too perfect.

Guest: dj (70 days ago)
Mozart began composing at age 5 --besides playing.

Guest: Kelly T (100 days ago)
God Almighty. I would love this kids all-encompassing delight in his music....and half his ability!!!!!!. He is a true musician....watch his face, and body posture....as he subsumes himself to the music.

Guest: Zillah (163 days ago)
wow wow wow

Guest: JenMor64 (49 days ago)
