The US has an enormously more modern/larger arsenal to throw in. There are 11 carriers in the US Navy vs 1 Chinese. Not including the amphibious assault carriers. Tank wise, the ZTZ99 doesn't have a hope vs an Abrams M1A1. This infographic doesn't do any justice to the US, but it is correct. Amercians are getting dumber by the minute.

If that is what they based their final ratings on, they should have included that in the second above it.

And these FACTS are backed up by.....er.....Wikipedia. Because everything on Wikipedia is true .

You can't prove that Wikipedia is dishonest or nonfactual. So...being on the far right you don't like it because it's free and won't let you doctor facts to your liking.

What we're stating is that Wikipedia is highly unreliable to quote from, since ANYONE can easily make UNFACTUAL amendments. NO ONE in academia (or anyone wishing to be taken seriously) would quote Wikipedia if they value their research skills.

Ha.. how very old fashioned all of you people talking about military power... that is just soooo last century.... Skyman is on the right track... Chinese call the 20th century 'the century of humiliation'.. now next century China is going to humiliate all the countries that humiliated it last century... by OWNING them!!

We're not discussing individual philosophies; we're discussing the spurious statistics quoted. As much as our philosophies abhor the idea of the international arms race, we still need to be grounded in the real and present world of politics.

What they didn't supply were historic military expenditure and investment in current arsenal technology. Those figures could be significant issues, since a consistent continuum of historic investment in current technology could easily outweigh manpower available for service .i.e. don’t come to a gunfight with a knife (aka arms race). There also could be other issues relating to the causation for any disparity of 'power points' or fact finders could simply be biased. Don't believe everything you see, ESPECIALLY when they've quoted Wikipedia three times as references (not credible) and all other references are compiled ONLY from US sources. Let's put all our Critical Thinking caps on shall we, before taking this infographic as anything BUT credible. Just saying!

and most of the US Governements loans come from china - you can't claim economic supremacy when your opponent is your bankroller

It seems to me that your math skills are some what lacking, how can you claim military supremecy when the numbers don't show it, I think the score is USA 2 China 3. Idiots.

Ditto that. Perhaps that's why China is #1 in math and we are still only #31.
