Peter Saville on the design and effect of Joy Division's 'Unknown Pleasures'

(3:40) English art director and graphic designer Peter Saville was responsible for many of Factory Records' record covers, most notably for Joy Division and New Order. Joy Division's 1979 'Unknown Pleasures' cover was based on an image of the first signals observed from a pulsar in 1967.
