Let's not condemn this young man too early. There's some really important research being done into what is becoming known as AYGB syndrome - or Ashley Young Gareth Bale syndrome - by two of the Premier League's leading medical apologists; Professor Alex Baron Aubergine Ferguson and Doctor AVB 'The Project' Project. Apparently the astonishing reluctance by football managers to denounce blatant cheating by any number of their players has lead to peer pressure on colleagues to maximise 'simulation' or, in English, cheating. There is, though, no truth in the rumour that Peter Waterfield's loss of funding for his 10m highboard training has been lost due to BOC's identification of several hundred better divers that turn out every Saturday afternoon.
