Penn Jillette: Busting the bullshit

Penn Jillette: Busting the bullshit

(5:34) Is religion responsible for a lot of the world's problems? Penn Jillette gives his take. Steven Weinberg's quote was: "With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion."

This is all magical isn't it? What about the good that religion does every day and year? This sort of argument comes forth from one who hasn't read the Bible, nor does they love God. The man is at war with Jesus; hence the ponytail bravado and rebellion. Thus, we can conclude, that his arguments are hollow and vapid to the point of not listening to them.

Feaith - you are off the scale stupid. Religion is based ancient books produced through fear and ignorance. Every day your "god" receeds as we understand more, and need bullshit explanations less (think gravity, solar system, germs etc). Let's hope you and your kind fade with your god.

I've read Moby Dick but I don't belive there is a Great white whale roaming the oceans with destruction on it's mind. Why do you think stories written and rewritten to suit whom ever interpret's it at the time by ordinary people carries any more creditability
