Good for him, and well said also. I'm ashamed that no senior officer in the US armed forces has so bluntly, sternly and publicly made a similar statement. We harken back to what we refer to as our "best generation", that came of age during the great depression, invaded and conquered Eurpoe and the Pacific during the second world war, and one of the things that make us most proud is that, at least in in general terms, those men did not rape and pillage their way through those theaters of war, the way their enemies did. Today, we seem to have lost hold of that moral straw, and now we just pretend evil doesn't exist among us, by failing to prosecute the vast majority of deviant sexual offenders in our military ranks. It's all about leadership. We have a lot to learn from a real leader, this Australian officer and gentleman. I salute you, sir.

I was expecting a break at the end where he stops, looks to one side and says with a broad grin "That ought to shut the whingeing bastards up. Chuck us a cold one.".
