He's finally won Wimbledon, fine. Suddenly, however, everyone hangs on every word he utters, as if winning a tennis tournament gave him the ability to say anything worth a damn. Novac Djokovic is a Serb with English as a foreign language and he is still much more eloquent than Murray.

You are obviously English and are choked that the first British male to win Wimbledon in 77 years is a young lad from Scotland, well you best be getting used to it because he will probably win it again next year. And if memory serves me correctly Novac Djokovic came in second, that's why no one is interested in anything he has to say, suck it up princess.

Latest comment: I can't be bothered with this obsessive 'who wins what' crap that passes as entertainment, Haggisshagger, so it makes no difference to me where the winner of Wimbledon is from. It's a meaningless game. The point that slid so easily past you is that the winner of [insert event here] is asked to grace the world with the benefit of their suddenly found wisdom because they came first in some random event. That wisdom is absent in most of them but since you're just another skirt wearing geordie with his brains kicked out, it will have escaped your notice. And english? No.

I used to think that losing made you more hungry and determined but after my success at the Olympics and the US Open I realise that winning is the biggest motivation. Quote by Andy Murray, Scottish tennis player and Wimbledon champion 2013 (b. 1987). More homepage quotes
