X-47B repeated

X-47B repeated "touch and go" carrier landings

(1:19) The Northrop Grumman X-47B is a US unmanned combat air vehicle designed for carrier use. Here it is performing repeated "touch and go" landings, so consistent it looks like a replay of the same video! Autonomous takeoffs and landings will be coming to an airline near you... soon.

Nothing new, when the Tridents were testing auto landings in the 1960's they were hitting, within 18 inches, the same spot on the runway. After a while they had to move the point of landing because it was wearing out the runway at the first landing spot.

Latest comment: My friend bought a Vulcan Bomber, actually he bought two, the guy who flew it showed the photographer where on the runway at Wellsbourne near Stratford Upon Avon he would land. He did within a foot!
