For being an educator in the economics area, she’s not very smart. She considers the fact that deducting mortgage interest from your income when determining your tax bill is a government handout. What she doesn’t realize is that this is not a handout but is a policy that you do not pay taxes on losses and interest is a huge loss and one of the biggest you will have in your life. It's just like being able to deduct interest on your student loans too. You can also deduct sales tax and state income taxes as well so you do not pay taxes on taxes. Perhaps before she makes statements like this, she should hire an Enrolled Agent to give her some tax advice.

Another comment she made is that one of her students was complaining about people buying tobacco and alcohol with food stamps. Well, I know in Florida at least that it is not possible. You cannot even buy prepared food and many junk food items with an EBT card. Tobacco and alcohol is definitely not allowed. Curious what state that was or was it just their imagination. Could it also be that the person was using welfare to pay for most of the food but had to pay cash for the rest of the stuff that couldn’t be bought with welfare money?

The whole argument about Walmart being subsidized instead of the employees is hogwash. As stated many times before, those Walmart employees would be earning zero if it wasn’t for Walmart and they would receive 100% government income. The fact that Walmart is hiring them, they can earn some money for the little skills they have and the government only provides them with a little extra money instead of all their money.

us uneducated serfs stuck in wage slavery disagree deeply with your banker guild's manipulative and dishonest opinion and we would very much like to skin you alive along with your elitist banker friends and their families, just for the hell of it.

Have a nice day!

You uneducated and unskilled people that cannot find a higher paying job wants the government to step in to artificially increase your hourly worth by increasing the minimum wage. The other option would be for you to get some skills and education and apply for a better paying job.

If you try to use the excuse that there are no job vacancies anywhere else then be thankful that Walmart is hiring while nobody else is.

Us uneducated serfs no longer care for the disgusting lies that our masters tell us through the mouths and hands of their spineless, devious bureaucrats keepers of the debt slavery system put in place by our rulers to make us feel small and powerless.

We no longer feel small but angry and thirsty for the blood of our opressors and their shameless, amoral lakeys.

We want to smell your simmering flesh over the flames of our trampled hopes and dreams.

Best of luck to you!
