The bird does that to annoy his friend so he will go away and not eat all his fattening food. And as the bird walks away he is thinking....my work is done.

This is like watching a Super Mario game. The dog needs a green hat and mustache.

No, probably just you - check your browser plugins and disable them. If you are using Internet Explorer, try Chrome or Firefox instead

Getting the same pop ups earlier today on Firefox, guess some bad guy has knobbled an advert? Quitting seemed to kill it, but then not on Windows...

This is a virus called 'Flashplayer.vodonet. net pop-up'. Here's a page explaining how to remove it and what it does. LINK

According to malwaretips.com: "The Flashplayer.vodonet.net pop-up happens regardless of the web browser or search engine, and if you are seeing ads from Flashplayer.vodonet.net whenever you are doing a Google search or visiting a website, then your computer may be infected with adware or a potentially unwanted program.

This infection is designed specifically to make money. It generates web traffic, collects sales leads for other dubious sites, and will display advertisements and sponsored links within your web browser."

Also from malwaretips.com: "Flashplayer.vodonet .net is not a malicious domain itself, however cyber criminals are using an adware program to display ads from this domain, thus getting pay-per-click revenue.

You should always pay attention when installing software because often, a software installer includes optional installs, such as this program that is causing the Flashplayer.vodonet.net pop-up ads. Be very careful what you agree to install."

----------------

BoreMe will NEVER try any such "trickery", that's just not what we do, but we do rely on ad agencie for our revenue, who themselves are constantly battling cyber scams. Unfortunately, that is the way of the internet.

I hope this is helpful.

Could you convert the site to use HTML5 instead of Flash? That would fix this problem as well as allow me to view the site with mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets that do not support flash.

It can be done, Youtube uses HTML5 by default.

Yes, that's a good idea. We are in fact in the process of "modernising" the whole site to make it adhere better to current standards, and that will include using HTML5 rather than Flash.

It's a big project that has only just begun, so expect the results in a few months time.

Yes, every time and only this site. I am constantly getting pop-ups saying I need java or flashplayer updates. I don't have either and I don't need them. Perhaps the owner of this site is trying to cash in.
