Another idiot. Civilization is not the cause for depression. More throat to consume and more asshole to generate waste and less resources that forces people to constantly fight for their life are the reason for depression. Civilization increases the population/ frequency of wars ratio. Without civilization we would have several more wars to increase the ratio.

Tell you what, when you get some degrees in clinical psychology under your belt, along with the attendant clinical time meeting with real people with real problems, then I'll take your comments seriously. Until then, I dismiss you utterly with absolute comtempt.

Medical practioners come up with crazy ideas all the time, and spend the rest of the time indulging in tunnel vision and confirmation bias, example 1) "reflex anal dialation" as a indicator of child abuse. OOOPS. Trust them,,,,they are doctors.

HAHAHAHAHA. Yeah I heard the 'war is our natural evolution' line when I was a teen. That thought was easily removed when I learned more. You're not an adult, are you? Some of the richest people in the world are depressed. they don't fight for their lives, what's your learned answer to that one? I could even use Stephen Fry as an example but you'll probably tell me he is depressed because he is gay. You'll have the answer I'm sure.....

People should really research their thinking. You really think people are depressed, because we have to live?? F me we have been struggling to live from the very moment we evoluted to dying from mouth infection or child birth right up to new age diseases such as cancer etc. In you little idea you also forgot to think about the effects of Medicine. Millions of people across Europe and China have dies from polio, Flu, Pox, plague etc but that doesn't happen any more. Is that also a reason we are sad, because we don't die of disease as much, or we don't die fighting in religious and pointless wars at the behest of rich people???

Tell me more oh wise one.
