And this is the exact reason you don't trust the media unless you fact-check the data yourself.

The media is very powerful and people do blindly believe it but the same thing goes for religion. This is why you have to be careful and be skeptical of everything. If you want to believe something, try to find the source of the information for yourself. Anyone on YouTube and the media can say anything but not all of it is true.

I wholeheartedly agree. Which is also why TV election ads should not be privately financed, because people blindly believe that shit.

I don't want my tax dollars paying for TV election ads either. Maybe the solution you're looking for is to take away our freedom of speech and nobody should be allowed to mention any political candidate in the newspaper, on the TV, on YouTube, on a roadside sign, or any other form of media.

When it comes election day, you will see a list of people running for office and you can pick your candidate without any media influence.

TV election ads don't inform. They are just slagging matches where their effectiveness is measured by the amount of money spent on saturating the airwaves.

Much better are party political broadcasts, where parties can be allocated the same number of minutes to sell themselves, TV and internet debates, chat shows, current affairs programs, YouTube vlogs, even sites like BoreMe.

I grew up in the Eastend of London. The population was mixed but mostly white British. When I went back in 1999, I went to visit my fathers grave in Laytonstone.... It was as if I was in a middle eastern country. Not only the people on the streets but the stores catering to them. So even though this man got it wrong, What he said will definitely be truthful in the near future about many places in the UK. There are already "No go" places in Britain for non Muslims. There are legal Sharia courts. There are laws for everyone BUT Muslims... Non Muslims that say anything against them can be and are charged with "Inciting hatred" or "racism" (Even tho Islamism is not a race) Yet Muslims are allowed to yell and scream about killing anyone and everyone, not only are they not charged but, While they are protesting in the streets telling us how we should all die, they have police escorts! So basically... Yeah, this guy was wrong but... Only for now!

'No-go' areas if you're a white supremacist maybe, or have paranoid delusions. Do you think the massive middle-class white areas are considered 'No-go' to people of other ethnicities or class? Divisive and ignorant.

You are wrong. Any "Middle class" areas are not No go because Middle class whites do not attack anyone for going there. If you are not aware of the areas in Britain where anyone other than Muslims do not go for fear of being accosted by Muslims for not dressing "the right way" or behaving the "right way" then you are not a person that bothers to pay attention to what is going on in your own country! And if you payed just a small amount of attention you would also know that I am NOT being divisive. I am being honest and the Islamists are the ones being divisive. There is only so much that anyone can put up with before saying enough is enough. I am 56 years old and have never during my whole lifetime had any bad opinions of any group or ethnicity. What has been happening in the world for many many years and has escalated these last few years has made me scared of and angry about Islamists, and Muslims in general for not doing more to stop the fanatics. Has led me to study the Koran to see what it is that they believe and what they are trying to make the whole world believe... It is brutal, scary and just plain Barbaric. You cannot accuse me of lying about anything because the truth of what I say is right in front of our noses. The Islamists tell us every day that the plan is to make the whole world a Caliphate. That they will kill all Jews and Infidels. The Koran has hundreds of passages telling Muslims to kill everyone who does not worship Allah. Muslims believe that the Koran is the word of god and cannot be altered. If you are Muslim, I don't have to tell you any of this because you already know. Don't ever call ME divisive because you cannot get any more divisive that you do while following the Koran! At least all the other religions that think they are the " Chosen ones" do not kill you for wanting to leave their faith or for breaking their religious laws. You would also be a far better person if you didn't call others "Ignorant" when clearly you are the one who is suffering from lack of information. I notice you had no argument against Sharia law being implemented in Britain and the other statements I made. Clearly there is something wrong when you start having 2 seperate law systems in a country to accomodate a religion.

I haven't challenged you on everything, not because you make sense but because my experience tells me that people with entrenched xenophobia and islamophobia aren't amenable to rational discourse, and I don't really want to get into a lengthy debate on a recreational site like this.

I've lived in pretty much exclusively Asian neighbourhoods in Yorkshire, and they were no more dangerous to me than white working class council estates in the same city; in fact, far less so. The fact you've generalised to say 'whites do not attack anyone for going there', shows that despite your sidestepping, it is an issue of race to you and you're happy to make sweeping statements on that basis.

You can cherry-pick the more hostile parts of the Koran as you can do with the Old testament Bible to suit your agenda, but it proves nothing. The undeniable fact is, the vast majority of people that live by either text do so with tolerance and pacifism. Over a fifth of the world's population are muslim, and they are no more responsible for the minority of 'Islamic' extremists than Christians are for the Lord's Resistance Army.

The bigotry in this country is fuelled by the irresponsible journalism of tabloids; and yes, it does lead to divisive attitudes because it's basically alleging that if you're Muslim, you're an Islamic extremist wanting a worldwide caliphate. If that's not ignorance, I don't know what is.

YOU were the one to bring up color, in case you have forgotten, I was responding to YOUR comment. I happen to be Mixed race Black/White. You assume far too much.
You also should not say that quoting the violent parts of the Koran is "Cherry Picking" Are you aware of how many countries LIVE by the Koran and legally stone people to death for wanting to leave the faith or for being gay etc. , whole countries! That is TODAY buddy not back in the bad old days when everyone was ignorant and barbaric.
Leaders of countries and others blame the West for these attacks in our own countries. You fool yourself if you think that it is a small minority, it is a damned Massive minority that would be happy to see us dead. When you start talking about hundreds of thousands (Probably a lot more than that) who want you dead, You cannot sit back and say.. Well, The majority are OK. especially when the majority are not doing anything to stop the minority.
Which Islamic country has sent people to help fight ISIS? Where are the demonstrations against extremist? Where are the Muslims condemning Terrorists? One here and one there. For a billion people, They sure don't seem to make a lot of noise or physically assist in bringing down this "Minority" A massive percentage of Muslims believe it is OK to kill someone for Blaspheming.
You are entitled to believe what you want to. Keep your eyes shut to what is happening all you want. Time will tell.

Oh here we go! Right, you're mixed race, you probably have black friends too right?! God love the internet. I did indeed mention race / 'colour' as you prefer to call it, to say how it doesn't matter. You were the one to say that white people don't attack you for entering their area - I didn't make you type that! Truly absurd, and yes, racist. Your American writing style betrays a serious link with the USA, so I'm wondering just how much real experience you have of living with ethnicities in the UK.

More cherry-picking. So some Islamic countries decide to execute their own people in their traditional ways? Like Christian countries, Russia and of course your old favourite the USA. Like Hindu countries such as India. Like BUDDHIST countries including Japan! But no, it's those scary Muslims that shouldn't be doing it right?

I think you absolutely can 'sit back and say the majority are OK', because they are. Maybe your paranoia and tabloid reading preferences are giving you the impression that most muslims want you dead, but in the real world, most don't give you a second thought. If a fifth of the world's population wanted you dead, I think you'd be having considerably more problems that you actually do. I would however guess that many of them would seriously object to you personally lumping them together with terrorists. Fair enough, I'd say.

I'm going to answer your final question(s), because I actually believe you are ignorant rather than trolling, and you genuinely seem not to know. Allow me to try and educate you. Which Islamic country has people fighting ISIS? I apologise if I miss a few: Morocco, Jordan, Turkey, Bahrain, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Iran (and Hezbollah). And that's not touching on the various groups from within Iraq / Kurdistan and Syria themselves. I can't actually think of an Islamic country that has NOT condemned terrorism, or even the Charlie Hebdo attack, and unlke the above I am not going to collate the statements on your behalf. Google it. However, as a taster, Saudia Arabia said it "condemns this cowardly terrorist attack which is incompatible with Islam religion and disapproved by religions and faiths," and Indonesia (home to the largest population of muslims worldwide) said they "condemned Wednesdays terrorist attack in Paris and said any act of terrorism against innocent people is opposed to Islamic teachings." Pretty black and white I'd say. I guess they didn't cover that stuff in the papers you read, right? But it's me with my eyes shut. Mmkay.

QED.

I know, it's hard to believe, but over the years Birmingham will be taken over by muslims - go and check not-so-up-to-date streetview. Just an example: LINK

I know you will find english people as well, but this is a fact.

"In the 2011 Census 21.8% of the Birmingham population identified themselves as Muslim. This is significantly higher than the average for England and Wales of 4.8%". Wikipedia: LINK

"As of 2010, over 1.6 billion or about 23.4% of the world population are Muslims". Wikipedia: LINK

So as a reflection of Muslims worldwide, Birmingham is quite representative. Not sure what that means, just thought it was interesting.

Latest comment:

only 21% of the population of Birmingham self-reports as belonging to the Muslim faith. It has risen only 5% (from 15%) in the last decade. If they are "taking over" the city, they sure are doing a shite job of it. You people need to get a grip.

BTW, you want a "no go zone?" Every single large city in the US has massive ghettoes. Not that moronic, ignorant Americans care, since they either drive their SUVs right over them on elevated highways or never see them (and therefore either exaggerate or deny their existence). The scariest neighborhood in Britain reminds me of the scariest neighborhood in Eurodisneyland, in comparison.
