Patrick Moore: Why I left Greenpeace

Patrick Moore: Why I left Greenpeace

(5:40) Patrick Moore was a member of Greenpeace almost from the beginning (1971 - 1986), but he was a controversial figure in the history of the organisation. He changed his stance in favour of nuclear energy and is a global warming skeptic. His critics point to his business relations with "polluters and clear-cutters". Since the early 1990s he has been consulting and publicly speaking for a wide variety of corporations and lobby groups such as the Nuclear Energy Institute. Monte Hummel, president of World Wildlife Fund Canada claimed that Moore's book 'Pacific Spirit' is a collection of "pseudoscience and dubious assumptions". Also note, Prager University is not a real university. It's a YT channel with 5 min videos of "higher learning". Topics have included the Ten Commandments and global warming.

He was pushed out because he spoke too slowly, and the meetings were really dragging.
