Stephen Colbert interviews Donald Rumsfeld

(9:42) Stephen Colbert skilfully pins the notoriously evasive former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.

Assuming you mean why does Donald Rumsfeld have a job instead of Stephen Colbert, please tell me what job he does have. His last government job ended in 2006 which was 10 years ago.

Hi cengland0. I think Donald Rumsfeld's current job is avoiding being charged as a war criminal

Don't you have anything better to do than defend war criminals and harass me?

I am not harassing you. You asked a question, I provided an answer. Nobody else offered you an answer so you should be pleased that I did.

Can you tell me specifically what you think Donald Rumsfeld did that would cause him to be a war criminal? That is a serious crime and the punishment is usually hanging. Did he kill anyone with unconventional weapons? Rape the women on that country? Please tell me because I am dying of curiosity.

I'm not sure if I want to prevent you from dying of curiosity, cengland0, but to answer your question...

Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and others in that odious crew should be charged with authorising their agents to commit torture and other serious human rights violations.

On this rare occasion, I agree with you: yes, it is a serious crime.

I trust you're up to speed now on the difference between a war criminal and a prisoner of war - I remember you were confused earlier.
