We have not heard of the people in the West - who have stashed away fortunes or their allies - is it only the leaders of of our enemies who place their money with us?

I think the enemies of the West are being pointed out first - to hear their excuses! Then the dodgey people over here can choose the best excuses - so they do not look so bad. After all if so many people are doing this - if you are the last to be pointed out - then it does not look so bad!

There are over 11 million documents to be sifted - just be patient. I'm sure there are a lot of very dodgy people currently shitting bricks, probably enough to build Trump's wall twice over.

Difficult to buy that line. That's assuming that not a single journalist involved has had the chance to search for this juicy information.

Amazing how every road seems to lead to Putin, even though his name is not mentioned once in the papers. He's automatically guilty by association, but not Cameron or any of the fat cats in our own parliament.

It's a shame that a responsible country like Britain cannot make laws that affect their commonwealths like the British Virgin Islands so this cannot happen. I can understand this happening in countries that are not controlled by major countries but this is unacceptable.

It seems to also happen in the Bahamas which is under the monarch too. "David Cameron’s father ran an offshore fund that avoided ever having to pay tax in Britain by hiring a small army of Bahamas residents – including a part-time bishop – to sign its paperwork"
