Restaurant laborers in Denmark don’t suffer the US trauma of over 95% of well-paying manufacturing and white collar jobs being outsourced to India, China, Mexico, Philippines, Guatemala, Poland, and Brazil or automated. Denmark citizens are also not brainwashed by Billionaire News Media Moguls like Frank Carlucci, Ted Turner, Sid Bass and Rupert Murdoch that repeatedly remind the serfs that unions must take all the blame for inducing the flight of US employers from unreasonable union bosses hell bent on ensuring inferior product quality and pricing.

The current reality is cost to manufacture in India, China, Mexico and Brazil is equal and/or higher than US manufacturing costs due to unions in those countries raising labor costs, import/export tariffs, customs delays, higher electricity costs, delays from inferior and less secure transportation and storage infrastructure, excess inventory required to compensate for the aforementioned delays and a burgeoning desire by people in the third world to demand their environmental laws actually start being enforced so that their air, water and soil might be less cancerous.

The service industry should shake off their trauma and realize that changing times now put them in the cat-bird seat before software and mechanical devices actually do become capable of replacing them.

But then, don't they pay a 55% income tax rate?

Latest comment:

Tax tables in the United States peaked at over 90% from 1947 to 1963 and peaked at 70+% from 1964 to 1981. It would be hard to argue that even billionaires don't profit more and live in a more humane society with less fear over being lynched when they allow the serfs to receive government services.
