Both should tried in the World Court in Brussels, Belgium for War Crimes. The intellegence gathered by the CIA & MI6 was ,"spot on". Both administrations choose to interpret it with,"criminal intent" or to invade Iraq and murder millions. The administrations of Bush & Blair are guilty...NOT MI6 or the CIA personel.

One way to unify a people and to stop them showing interest in trouble at home , is to give them a common enemy. Even a made up one will do.

The only one's who benefitted from the Iraq war was bush and his friends.

Yes they should be in jail, a long with a lot of other 1% ers.

You still have to charge them with a specific crime, have a trial, and find them guilty, and sentence them, before you can put them in jail.

Rule of law, anyone?

i agree. jail them along with other war mongers like stephen harper rob nicholson + harjit sajan and also apologists like trudeau who allowed action to spill over to syria and who still support the war crimes in syria by ofering the logistics equipment and vehicles that are used to this day but who are to cowardly to offer the lives of service men. they encourage the imoral massacre yet dont stick out the necks of canadian cowards. all the war mongers should pay.

You want to ignore the law to punish them for ignoring the law. That will make you feel really morally superior I guess.

I never said I thought it was legal. My point is that it would be wrong to punish someone for a crime without going through the process of charging them with the crime, having a trial, etc. I am amazed that I have to point this out.

im amazed to have to point out that when people say put them in jail it means what they have done is so serious they should be found guilty of a crime and jailed. if you dont think its legal then you think they have comited a crime and that would be discovered in court and they would be jailed. simples. we all agree.

Why bother with a trial? You have already decided they are guilty - of what? you have not said which law was broken. "War Crimes" is useless. But who cares, you have already said they are guilty.

You don't seem to care much for the rule of law.

one wonders why Iraq, for almost all the hijackers on 9/11 were Saudi nationals, why wasn't Saudi invaded instead.. As for as I can clarify, Hussain was a despot in his own country and provided he didn't march back into Kuwait or another adjacent country, should have been the responsibility of those countries who hold influence in that region.. Where were the Saudis, Kuwaiti's, Jordainians, UAE etc, for they were of the same religion, same culture and had most to loose if he got out of his cage again, why didn't they depose him??

Davymac -

I may be mistaken but I think they were all part of the "coalition of the willing" or whatever it was called. But of course the UK press only reports actions involving UK nationals so we get a totally distorted picture of what's going on. Same in Afghanistan and anywhere else in the world.

In the few occasions where I have had personal knowledge of something and later seen it reported in the press - even the local rag - it has been completely misleading.
