Well, apparently a Mexican life is worth less to a Mexican car buyer than an American life to an American car buyer. Don't tell Michael Moore or other retarded wannabe leftists though. It would make their heads explode. LINK

It's about regulations. The Tsuru is basically an early 90s Nissan Sentra, which would not be legal to sell in the US today. LINK Good regulations save lives.

In Vietnam there are Hondas, Nissans, Toyotas etc. but they are definitely not the same cars as those found in the UK. The standard of finish is the obvious giveaway. I would not want to be in an accident in one of those.
