Trump sure is dumb, and yet I voted for him. => He must be more able than all the liberals.

Cognitive dissonance anyone?

I think it already has.

Trump is a boorish, hypocritical buffoon who has trouble remembering which country he's bombed - and as a "businessman" couldn't even make money out of a casino.

He is, however, president and he achieved that because he is a great salesman, though we can't say he's an honest one.

He knows which buttons to push with people (It's gonna be great), he knows how to speak confidently in such a non-specific way that the gullible take him at his word (It's gonna be so great your head will spin).

The first problem is that he doesn't deliver on his promises. What did he say he would do in the first 100 days - and what has he actually achieved?

The second problem is that he doesn't care. This is all a phenomenal business opportunity for brand Trump. How much money will he (and the family members and cronies he has appointed to office) make?

It looks like the penny has already dropped for Bloomberg LINK

How long will it be before his credulous supporters realise they've been sold a pup?

The "right" have been dead for years in the UK. UKIP fizzled out with a whimper, the BNP too before them. Nothing but a joke these days. Hell when even the libdems are more credible than any right wing party... that's the sign to give in. They know it and oh man are they pissed.

Haaaaa that's precisely what I love! The right-wing are reduced to claiming credit for the Conservatives, the very party that wiped out UKIP - and now they have to trot along behind a proudly centrist PM like May! It's hilarious, they are so redundant. RIP UKIP.. if you can't even elect your leader as an MP in your heartland, give up. They would kill to have even half the power of the piss weak libdems.

All pollsters have a bias. It takes instinct and nous to realise when pollsters are skewing their sample. That's why you need a calibration, or reference to trusted and known source.

PS I will repeat, the Conservatives have wiped out UKIP. Those failing libdems only have 9 seats in government. How many do UKIP have? Hehehe.

RIP the right!

Indeed, and we know what the SNP think of UKIP - they wipe the floor with them like the other parties. We can be sure that the right wing won't get a sniff, as usual. If they can't even elect their leader as an MP, they are nothing more than a joke. How they would grovel to have the seats that the liberals have had! What a pity..........

Why you think I'm a ukip voter, I'll never know.

I'm just laughing at the collapse of labour's core vote That's where the ukip surge came from. And now they've decided labour has abandoned them, they aren't going back.

Conservatives destroying Ukip ?????, yes as long as they stick to achieving Brexit.

A surge in UKIP? Hilarious! If after a "surge" they still can't beat the failing Labour party to elect their own leader... says it all. Now THAT is funny!

UKIP are the only right wing party left and its very amusing that anti-establishment right wingers have to pretend to support pro-establishment centre Tories. The public realises, just because we want Brexit, doesn't mean we want the right wing getting any sort of power! Hahaaa!

Labour are defunct, which made it truly hilarious to watch them utterly crush Nuttall and UKIP. The right wing are redundant. Didn't you get the memo? Someone's hurting. Call me a mean name if it helps.

If you call that Labour being decimated, how do you describe what is happening to the right wing? UKIP has lost 63 councillors already and absolutely zero gains!! Now THAT is ouch!

Labour have so far lost something like a third of their seats. UKIP have so far lost 100%. Hilarious.

Not a good day for the poor right wing and I'm loving every minute!

I do love the way the libtards are clutching at straws. Everybody expected UKIP to lose their seats as they have achieved what they have set out to do. Brexit is a reality. Its the decimation of Labour which is important, if it wasn't for the Welsh heartland cities they wouldn't have any seats at all,, and they stilll have lost seats, buthey are irrelevant in England now.

What is about libtards that they can't understand that having the dominant party adopt your policies means Ukip have won completely. The conservatives are in the process of sidelining the remainiacs in their party, they understand which way the wind is blowing. And those ex Labour voters (382 council seats lost vs 563 Tories gained), have gone for gods haha.

Although its interesting how the libtards keep on trying to paint those that wish self determination as right wing. What does that make the scots/welsh/irish nationalists ?.

Mind you libtards are known for being thick.

Oh yes, Brexit is a reality but it's the conservatives not the right wing that have taken over! Absolutely brilliant. Poor right wing, out of all their ideas and their "not a single-issue party" stance they're redundant, never had a chance. Brexit never was right wing, proof is in the figures... the public have shown that we're happy to have Brexit so long as the right are crushed and its the establishment who lead it. HAHA! Get over it.

What did you expect ?, one issue parties will always decline once they have achieved what they set out to achieve. But all those voters they prised from labour haven't gone back, and the truth is the loony left rainbow labour are unelectable, with the heartlands doing their utmost to distance themselves from Corbyn, as evidenced by Andy Burnham's comments,, he is kryptonite on the doorstep

One issue party? So what happened to their manifesto? What happened to deporting terrorists, cutting foreign aid by 9billion, scrapping inheritance tax and bedroom tax, stopping votes for prisoners, binning HS2 etc etc etc? What happened to UKIP being an electoral force? What happened to them being the best to lead the country through Brexit? What happened to them being against the political establishment?

To be fair though, yes I did expect the right wing to be crushed. Even after Brexit I knew no one really thought UKIP were electable but I hadn't imagined they would be humiliated so completely.

Poor conservatard, now you have to trot along behind the Tories that killed you off.

HA. HA. HA.

Who gives a rats arse about Labour? Sadly they still have 230 seats and 30% of the vote. Meanwhile everyone is enjoying the utter destruction of the racist right wing UKIP party, except for the deluded conservatard troll who is crying into his milk that their best chance for election has resulted in complete humiliation. Deal with it. Your policies were a joke, you never had a chance. The right wing are dead! HAHA

Labour? You used to think I was Lib dem. Wrong both times. Want another guess?

A UKIP wingnut like yourself must have had a really tough week. It would take more than 4 weeks for your party to get in order. Question: with Labour on the ropes, do you think they will manage to do as badly as UKIP? What would Corbyn have to do in order to crash his party as hilariously as Nuttall has crashed yours? Good luck! haha

And yet Le Pen ( who is right wing ) will get a higher proportion of the vote than Labour in 4 weeks. Sad eh. But 4 years of Macron and many more French citizens being treated as expendable ( get used to it ), and the French will turn. Most of the youngsters voted Le pen, the tide is turning and Macron and his mummy won't be able to solve it.

Suck on that momentum boy.

HAHA!! Oh wow you must be hurting so bad!! This is the funniest politics I have ever heard. What a week for you, conservatard! So many salty right wing tears.

Labour are leaderless, floundering and unelectable... yet they still crush UKIP with their support!! What does that say? You would kill to have half the support of Labour, or even the Green Party! HAHAHAA

And as for France... HA HA HA!!! You were wrong as usual. Right wing are dead, did I mention? People are sick of the right wing and they have voted with their feet.

Suck on it hard, get it all in that big of yours, savour the flavour. 4 years of a centrist PM in the UK and in France, and the right wing opposition in both cases have disappeared in a smog of humiliation!!

I LOVE IT!!!!

Simple maths.

2016, 52% of voters wanted Brexit.

2017, less than 5% wanted a right-wing party in power.

Boom. Right-wing are dead.

The Right never actually had any support. They got all bolshy and cocky when the public voted for Brexit because they all stupidly assumed that it meant their party was gaining power. It meant just the opposite, we found a way to exclude them. You gotta feel sorry for them really. They lost even more seats than Labour today which wasn't easy.

Except that large numbers of those ex labour voting brexiters are defecting to the Tories. Ukip is a one issue party, if they achieve what they were founded to campaign for, then their popularity will wane.

Labour and its pandering to the immigrants, has meant the general joe public has destroyed them in scotland and now in the rest of the UK,

Now that's priceless

As pathetic as leader-less Labour are, they are still the opposition with nearly 10m votes in the last election. And the right wing parties? UKIP were never 1 issue... they (+ BNP) were always the party of the right, anti-EU, anti-immigration, anti-establishment, anti-elitism. Couldn't even get their leader elected as an MP! Hilarious! So now they are so utterly crushed, the poor right wingers are forced to trot along behind pro-establishment Tories with a centrist PM! Haha!

All pollsters have a bias. It takes instinct and nous to realise when pollsters are skewing their sample. That's why you need a calibration, or reference to trusted and known source.

PS its a known fact that years of being in power tends to erode politicians instincts. Relying on polls is dangerous.

Trump is just a random mediocre celebrity crowned as figurehead and scapegoat during a great human cataclysm. Selfish choices by suits in charge have led to a dead end, sealed in by walls of political, economic, environmental and climate brick. He's irrelevant: raging or laughing at the matador's cape or the ventiloquist's dummy won't really help. We need to fix what we can, adapt, and save as much as possible.

Trump and Company is putting to the test the idea that arose during he 80's- our business leaders are so much wiser and more responsible than the folks in government and academia that they should run America. OK, they run America now, all three branches, most state houses, and- through the military-industrial complex- the military. How're we doing? Peace? Prosperity? International admiration?
