What you really mean is that people like you would accept any deal whatsoever to leave the EU. You would pay any fine, accept any conditions, just to get out. At least Cable (and a few Tories as well) think that we shouldn't do that. The majority voted to leave but not under any circumstances. So let's make a deal that benefits us and if it's good enough for us then the electorate will accept it in a referendum. We don't accept until it is good enough and if the EU reforms itself before our leaders can get a good deal, then the electorate can decide. It's called democracy. Why are you so scared of that?
