Ice, in water, takes up more space, than when it is melted! Therefore, melting ice will reduce sea levels and not increase them.

the problem is that all the data is supplied ONLY by government-paid scientists. Then, all other scientists can only use the data supplied to them. If you start questioning the data, you will be excommunicated!

Is that true about sea level reducing when ice melts? The submerged part of an iceberg will displace less water when the ice melts, but what about the ice above the water? Doesn't that make up for the loss of volume below the surface?

Ice floating in a sink results in the same water level when melted. Ice by the side of the sink will cause the level to rise as it melts and slides into the sink. Also, water expands as it gets warmer.

You don't need to rely on "government scientists", you can try the experiment yourself.

The audio quality was so poor that I considered not watching more than the first minute of the video but I somehow managed to suffer through it. You would think a professional channel like the Real News could afford some quality microphones. If it's a problem with the skype or whatever internet conference software they used, then they could still record the audio separately to replace it post production. I'm not going to subject myself to that torture again.

Any physicist will tell you that you should wear black in summer and NOT white! Although white will reflect heat away - there is also heat within (the skin) that needs to be displaced, but will get reflected back into the body.

Therefore, Reducing ice surface on the earth, will help it to keep cooler and not heat it up!
