The people that use the service usually have longer commutes or early starts, so the prospect of paying 20p to get your homecooked meal (usually still hot), without having to lug anything around with you on crowded trains etc, is pretty appealing.

Suppose canjust see why but surely not enough demand to make a whole industy out of it! the though of my lunch be biked, and trained, around hot Mumbai by some random blokes doesnt sound too appealing to me.

There's twice as many people living in Mumbai as there are in London so it doesn't take a very large percentage to be interested in order to make it a viable industry.
