Google images for "Seoul 1953"

In 1955, with refugees, Seoul had 1.5 million of people, now it has around 25, a half of the population.

It all happened after the war.

So you're saying it was too small to be the capital? Busan was temporarily the capital for a brief time... for the rest of the time it was Seoul. Now you know

No, I'm saying it was leveled to the ground, by the enemy that is still 20-30 miles away. It's silly to put half of your population on that spot, but how knows maybe I'm just too cautious.

Yeah but it doesn't put millions at risk to know that Seoul was the capital. That's just being thick . Funny but not genocidal .

Capitals are generally much larger than 2nd largest city, 3-4 times or even more. Small capitals are exception. You don't have to be rocket scientist to know that.

Doesn't matter about the size. It either was the capital before or it wasn't. It was. You were wrong, get over it

Latest comment:

It's irrelevant.

South Korea is a new state created in 1948. and stabilized only after the war in 1953. with unresolved conflict.
