Utter Tosh.

We voted to stay in the Common Market years ago by simple majority. Then, the Eurocrats morphed this into the undemocratic EU without giving us a choice (and now want fo force the Euro on all, euro army, eurostate etc). So we had a simple majority vote to get out, seems perfectly balanced.

The electorate had a far better idea what they were voting for this time than the outcome of the disasterous In vote last time (boy did I regret voting in)

It is only the Rmoaners tha keep trying to cry foul and want endless reruns of the vote - just the same tactic used by the EU on other referendums they lost in the past.

I agree with every point made by Dawkins but for his use of the word "ignorant".

the average person in this country will tend to associate it with "uneducated, unpleasant, rude, boorish etc" and will immediately be inclined to react negatively to his arguments.

misled, misinformed, lied to, etc are far better ways of describing the tactics used.
