Where I live, the physics are different than how he mentions wind works.

When the sun is out, it heats up the ground causing the hot air to rise and then a low pressure causing wind to enter the area. In other words, the wind is highest when the ground is hottest which is when the sun is out. Not at night like he says.

When we water our lawns, we do it at night or in the morning before the sun comes up because wind causes the water to overspray driveways, sidewalks, and roads. Best to water in the morning instead of night to avoid fungus though.
