Why does American TV seem to embrace this kind of fanaticism? She's just another woman who looks to be capable of working herself into a froth of 'America. F**k yeah' in a heartbeat and has become the poster child for an organisation who suddenly feel threatened because their stance on making gun crimes less prevalent with more guns is being proven wrong, yet again.

Try addressing some of the comments she made such as gun free zones are criminal protection areas and gun control takes guns away from the victims and not from the criminals that are hell bent on murdering someone.

Mate, it's not me who needs to address comments or issues, it's you lot. I'm on the outside looking in and wondering who said anything about taking guns away from legal firearm owners. Can't there be a measure of future control without gun enthusiasts like this woman shouting that their '2nd amendment rights' are under threat? How about limiting types of gun; ownership of gun only after a gun safety course at a registered range and mandatory registration? Those would be a start, surely? No need to go down the 'tons more guns' or 'no guns' routes necessarily. Just thinking aloud, but this woman isn't an ideal spokesperson for the pro gun lobby.

They've been addressed multiple times. Then you get stuck on the statistics, get a few too many uncomfortable questions, and then you run away until the next time.

USA marketing shite! Sod the facts put the good looking woman up she sway opinion for us.

This unapproachable subject that is flatly shutdown for any sensible debate with the phrase “it’s the 2nd amendment, the end” is madness. Bit like when trying to discuss religion with an American i.e. “Bible says so, so end”. It’s an AMENDMENT which means change to or add on. You’ve made 27 Amendments so far well and for just pure sanity make another i.e. Amendment 28: This supersedes 2nd amendment for being a bit crap – End

It doesn't work like that.. the general public don't have that much control. Yes there have been 27 ammendments in 240 YEARS! Can you imagine how many times fundamental legislation has been changed in other countries in that time? Most Americans rightly assume they basically don't have the power to change their constitution because the process is so prohibitive and corrupt.

Even their votes are fairly redundant when only candidates backed by million dollar organisations have a reasonable chance of getting any power. If you add a third of the population who are so terrified of their own society and their own government that they have to be armed, then reasonable people have no chance. I genuinely pity them.
