Who will win the World Cup?

I'm more impressed that there are nearly twice as many players in Switzerland as there is a population.

This is sadly tempered by that fact that 8 million Swiss people died to allow the highly reputable Economist to create this video!

Wow.  I already knew it but it's still staggering how incredibly stupid some Americans are.

There is no way this video has user generated rating of 87%!

What is the point of having a rating system if the boreme admin are the ones that set the bar?

Look at all the videos. Almost every one of them has the same or similar score.

This site has really gone to shit.

It wouldn't need to be anything like 60,000 miles long.

The International Space Station is sitting up there quite happily at 250 miles.

I reckon a good percentage of Americans would come up with a similar answer, if asked. More than 30%, I suspect.

This site is going to shit.

Almost everything has a supposed rating of 87 or 88%

This speech is dire, at best. There are very few insights of any kind and it is largely just waffle.

No way did this reach a rating of 88% by means of unbiased human judgement.

All smokers know there's stuff hanging around in their lungs.

That demonstration was pointless though.

Smokers rarely cane a cigarette like that and they exhale the smoke so the demonstration of tar on the second filter was misleading.

Not sure how you'd do a proper demonstration of what stays in the lungs.

Coildn't agree more.

My train was far quieter than normal but the weather wasn't great so I hope it was only because of that.

I grew up with the IRA blowing everything to shit when they felt like it.

A few arseholes with bread knives is nothing, by comparison.
