Dolphin blows air into water with force behind it, allowing it to move forward without rising too fast. Since this water is most probably Salt Water, the Na Cl in the water creates a stronger level of polarity between Water Molecules and forming complex ions, which then create stronger water tension effectively holding the air underwater longer, this also allows the dolphins to easily "knock" air out of the bubble to form smaller bubbles. It creates a flat ring which expands outwards from the pressure of the water.

There are regulations for placing animals in captivity such as zoos and aquariums, the main part of the regulations state that the animals must either be severely endangered (so they can captive breed and release the babys) or be captive bred themselves, so its highly unlikely that these dolphins have been anywhere near the sea

"These animals are smarter than we are" I highly disagree. Through the pressures of the water and the shape of their body pressures applied to the skull have not allowed the Dolphins brain to properly expand outwards, unlike Octopi and Squid. Which are smarter animals than Dolphins, but because of how we (Humans) are designed, our brains have been able to develop to a point where communication allowed us to build up as a society. Basically, we are smarter, you retard.

I'm not sure about this. How do the dolphins create such precise vortexes so as to control the bubbles so accurately? And how come the circles don't distort. They hold air and air floats.

it is created in during a vortex of water, created by machine here but can happen with natural ocean tides. The bubble first expands to the diameter of the vortex. Water pressure forces increase with expansion of bubble diameter causing weakened surface tension on the top of the bubble. This causes the bubble to maintain a more stable ring shape. Fools.

How do you create a bubble ring? The web site this came from explains it - Squeeze your lips to a small orifice. Keep it closed though. Your lips should look like being ready for a kiss, though a light one (not that wet smacker of your mother in law...). Slightly increase the air pressure in your mouth. Now very quickly open and close your lips so they pop out a very small amount of air. Abrupt closing is essential. The air shall really pop out. When all goes right, the air will form a ring.
