Why is a physicist even entering into a debate like this?

I would like to put myself forward as the State Scientist of Iraq. All I ask in return is one of Saddams more modest palaces, a retinue of dancing girls, a Blackwater security detachment and a salary of no less than 2 million US dollars a year.

Latest comment: I have never been subject to such a concentrated stream of stupidity before. I think my brain has melted just from listening to it.

The Bible also suggests that the Earth is flat. Maybe it's not the 'researcher on astronomy' we should ridicule but realise that all religions are bonkers. Stick to common sense I say, it makes much more sense then some dusty old books.
